T-Mobile to launch a second Android phone in early summer

T-Mobile USA said today it is launching its second Android phone "early this summer," but the carrier didn't say which device will carry the G2 name. .

"T-Mobile is planning to offer the follow-on device to the T-Mobile G1 early this summer," the company said in a statement. "We'll have more details to share on this exciting Android-powered device later this month."

The carrier's parent company earlier said the G1 has sold more than 1 million units, and T-Mobile USA has talked about introducing new Android manufacturers.
